Cleveland, Ohio – A department record-tying total of 115 student-athletes from Le Moyne College have earned the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award for the 2021-22 academic year, as announced by the Division II Athletics Directors Association.

Overall, a record 16,802 Division II student-athletes from 171 institutions were recognized with Academic Achievement Awards. Le Moyne was one of 11 Northeast-10 Conference institutions to have student-athletes recognized by the D2 ADA. Across the conference, 1,285 student-athletes were honored, the third-highest conference total in the country (trailing the PSAC and the Sunshine State Conference). Le Moyne’s total tied the record mark from last year, which eclipsed the previous record of 104 from the 2015-16 academic year.

In order for a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, which is in its 15th year, they must have recorded a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through at least four collegiate semesters and have been an active member of a varsity athletic program during his/her last academic year.
