He explores business ethics and culture, internal auditing, and employment opportunities for minority groups in accounting. His work extends to socio-political issues, including race and class in Fiji’s soccer history, as well as the intersections of heavy metal music, religion, and society in Indonesia. Additionally, Dr. James investigates Singapore politics, migrant-worker issues, and the voices of dissent in Australian soccer.
