She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Sana’a, Yemen, from 1996 to 2000. Furthering her expertise, Reem earned her PhD in Pathogenic Biology from Harbin Medical University in China from 2017 to 2021.
