Education:
Prof. Dr. Seif Eldin pursued his education in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Khartoum, Sudan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in 1993 followed by a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in 1998.
Experience:
Following his studies, Prof. Dr. Seif Eldin embarked on a career in research, initially joining the National Center for Research (NCR) where he served as a researcher. He gained valuable experience in the field before moving on to further opportunities.In 2009, he was awarded the TWAS-Postdoctoral Fellowship in biochemistry, which led him to join the International Center for Chemical & Biological Sciences (ICCBs) and the Dr. Pajwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) at the University of Karachi, Pakistan. Here, he collaborated with the research group of Prof. Dr. M. Kamran Azim, contributing significantly to their work.
Academic Achievements:
Prof. Dr. Seif Eldin’s academic achievements are notable. Throughout his career, he has authored more than 50 research articles, many of which have been published in prestigious scientific journals with significant impact factors. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to the organization and delivery of talks at national, regional, and international conferences.His primary research interests lie in the isolation, purification, and characterization of novel compounds from natural products, with a particular focus on substances derived from bee hive products such as honey, royal jelly, pollen, and venom. His dedication to advancing scientific knowledge in this field has earned him recognition and respect within the academic community.
