Following his studies, Prof. Dr. Seif Eldin embarked on a career in research, initially joining the National Center for Research (NCR) where he served as a researcher. He gained valuable experience in the field before moving on to further opportunities.In 2009, he was awarded the TWAS-Postdoctoral Fellowship in biochemistry, which led him to join the International Center for Chemical & Biological Sciences (ICCBs) and the Dr. Pajwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD) at the University of Karachi, Pakistan. Here, he collaborated with the research group of Prof. Dr. M. Kamran Azim, contributing significantly to their work.

His studies encompass topics such as the effects of different feeding regimes on bee brood-rearing, responses of specific bee species to artificial queen rearing techniques, physicochemical properties of honey, and the potential medicinal properties of honey against parasitic infections. Additionally, he has explored the dynamics of nectar secretion in major honey plants and characterized proteins in natural honey, shedding light on their antioxidant properties and geographical origins 🌿🍯.
