He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012 and has since been involved in pioneering research in perovskite solar cells, photodetectors, and biosensors for disease diagnosis. His work focuses on enhancing device performance through innovative materials and interface engineering. Dr. Li has authored numerous influential publications, including advancements in graphene transistors for sensitive biomarker detection and solar cell efficiency.

Dr. Jan obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, completing his research tenure from January 2009 to July 2012. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Hubei University, China, spanning from September 2005 to June 2008. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Electronics Technology from Hubei University, where he studied from September 1998 to June 2002. ๐ŸŽ“ Jan’s educational background reflects his deep-rooted expertise in physics and materials science, preparing him for significant contributions in his field.

Experience

From July 2002 to October 2008, He served as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Physics and Electronics Technology and the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Hubei University. Following this, He worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Applied Physics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, from October 2008 to January 2009. Subsequently, He held a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Applied Physics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from August 2012 to June 2014. Since July 2014, He have been affiliated with Hubei University, initially as an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and from July 2019, I have been serving as a Professor at the same institution. ๐ŸŽ“
