She completed her M.Phil. in Environmental Sciences at GC University Lahore in 2015, and her M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Punjab in 2011. Dr. Madiha Ijaz has diverse experience in academia and environmental consultancy. Since November 2021, she has been teaching Fundamentals of Ergonomics and Noise Pollution to MPhil OHS students at the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of the Punjab. She has served as a Lecturer in Geology at Govt. Postgraduate College for Women, Lahore since January 2018. Dr. Ijaz has also managed examination systems for 21 disciplines and contributed to the M.Phil. OHS admission committee. Previously, she worked as an Environmental Analyst at Weekly Cutting Edge Magazine (2015-2016) and as an Environmentalist at Universal Environmental Consultants (2011-2014). 🌱📚

Dr. Madiha Ijaz has actively participated in various professional development programs. In November 2019, she attended a two-day workshop on “Teaching as a Profession” at the Faculty Development Academy, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Pakistan. She also completed a two-week Induction Training in April-May 2018 at the same institution. Dr. Ijaz enhanced her skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by attending a course from August 5 to 27, 2017, at the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of the Punjab.
