Dr. Yuyang Yao, zhejiang university of technology, China
Dr. Yuyang Yao is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) under the supervision of Professors Zhenlu Shen and Jiangnan Shen. He is currently engaged in a joint research program at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, supported by ZJUT and CSC. His research focuses on the development of ion exchange membranes with antibacterial properties for water treatment applications. Through an interdisciplinary approach combining environmental science, biology, materials science, and chemical engineering, he aims to design and synthesize novel membranes to address biofouling issues in practical applications.
