Education

From 2017 to 2021, I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at China West Normal University. During this period, I immersed myself in a comprehensive curriculum aimed at understanding the intricate dynamics of our natural environment and the impact of human activities on it. Armed with a solid foundation in environmental science, I embarked on a new academic journey in 2021, enrolling in the Master’s program in Environmental Science and Engineering at Guangdong University of Technology. Here, I continue to deepen my knowledge and hone my skills, exploring innovative solutions to pressing environmental challenges. This transition marks a pivotal step in my pursuit of excellence in environmental research and advocacy. 🎓🌿🌏

Research Focus

The research conducted by Li, Zhao, Luo, Lai, Luan, and their collaborators focuses on in vitro immunotoxicity detection methods for environmental pollutants, exploring current techniques and offering insights into future perspectives. Their work delves into the intricate mechanisms through which environmental pollutants, particularly chlorinated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (CPAHs), induce immunosuppression. By employing advanced analytical chemistry approaches, they aim to elucidate the effects of CPAHs on immune cells, such as THP-1 macrophages, highlighting disruptions in amino acid metabolism as a key characteristic. This research sheds light on the immunotoxic potential of environmental contaminants, providing valuable knowledge for assessing and mitigating their impacts on human health and the environment. 🧪🔬🌱
