Educational Background
Dr. Norhamiza Ishak holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance, specializing in investment and corporate governance, from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2018. Her research focuses on the effects of family control, blockholder activism, and board structures on acquisition performance. She also earned a Master of Science (MSc.) in Finance from UUM in 2011, examining family ownership’s impact on firms announcing bonus issues, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
