Dr. Nida Ambreen began her academic journey with a Master’s degree in organic chemistry, which she completed in 2002, earning a scholarship for her MS leading to a PhD at the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi. Subsequently, she pursued a split Ph.D. in Organic Synthesis from the Chemistry Research Laboratories at Oxford University and the HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry (HEJRIC), completing her doctoral studies in 2010.

Experience:

Dr. Nida Ambreen has a rich and diverse professional background. She started her career as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science, and Technology, Karachi. She then transitioned to a Postdoctoral Research position as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Data Science and Honorary Consultant in Cardiology at the School of Chemistry, Cardiff University, in 2012. Following this, she secured the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan in 2016.
