Dr. Hendricks earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri in 2019, focusing on resource extraction, resistance, and religion in Nicaragua. He holds graduate certificates in Grantsmanship, Public Management, Nonprofit Management, and Global Public Affairs. His M.A. in Political Science also comes from the University of Missouri, with a thesis on Chinese Foreign Direct Investment in Latin America.

Dr. Hendricks served as a TEFL Teacher and Trainer for the United States Peace Corps in China and Nicaragua.
