His notable contributions include studies on strengthening techniques such as Near-Surface Mounted (NSM) FRP and steel bars, as well as hybrid CFRP/steel bars. Investigating critical regions reinforcement’s impact on strength and moment redistribution in RC beams, Dr. Abdelaleem also explores experimental repairs for NSM strengthening mechanisms with hybrid rebars.
