Dr. Heba Ashour is an Assistant Professor at the Nursing Administration Department, Faculty of Nursing, University of Alexandria, Egypt, since March 2023. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Science (2018) and a Master’s in Nursing Science (2013) from the same institution. Education and Qualifications

Dr. Ashour earned her Doctor of Nursing Science (D.N.S) in 2018 from the University of Alexandria. Her dissertation focused on lean wastes in health services process flow and organizational readiness for Lean system adoption. She completed her Master of Nursing Science (M.Sc) in 2013 with a thesis on factors associated with nurses’ readiness for change. She graduated with an excellent honor from the Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc) program in 2007.

Certifications

She has been an Associate Trainer (AT 108) at the Faculty & Leadership Development Center (FLDC), Alexandria University, since November 8, 2019, certified by the National Center for Faculty and Leadership Development (NCFLD). Dr. Ashour holds an ICDL International license and has completed advanced English language courses, scoring highly in exams at both the International British Institute and the Faculty of Nursingโ€™s Language Center.

Professional Experience

Dr. Ashour began her career as a Demonstrator in 2008 and has progressed through roles including Assistant Lecturer and Lecturer. She also gained practical experience as a nurse intern at Alexandria University Hospitals and worked as a professional nurse in intensive care units at Al Salama Hospital.
