Dr. Oluwaseun Afolabi is a distinguished researcher specializing in Religion and Peace Studies, recognized for his impactful contributions to academia and community service. He holds a Ph.D. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, earned during the period of 2012 to 2017. Sept. 2022 – Sept. 2023: Head of Department, Religious and Intercultural Studies As the Head of Department at Lead City University, I was entrusted with the leadership role for the Religious and Intercultural Studies department during the 2022/2023 academic session. Responsibilities included curriculum coordination, overseeing teaching and research activities, monitoring student performance, and managing examinations in collaboration with the Exams and Record Unit.

Dec. 2019 – Aug. 2022: Coordinator, Inter-Cultural Studies & Administration I served as the Coordinator for the department of Inter-Cultural Studies & Administration at Lead City University. Reporting to the Senate through the Vice Chancellor, my duties involved organizing research, teaching, and examination activities within the department.

Sept. 2019 – Till Date: Lecturer I In my role as a Lecturer in the Department of Religious and Intercultural Studies, I am actively engaged in teaching, research, and community service.
