Since November 2021, she has been teaching Fundamentals of Ergonomics and Noise Pollution to MPhil OHS students at the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of the Punjab. She has served as a Lecturer in Geology at Govt. Postgraduate College for Women, Lahore since January 2018. Dr. Ijaz has also managed examination systems for 21 disciplines and contributed to the M.Phil. OHS admission committee. Previously, she worked as an Environmental Analyst at Weekly Cutting Edge Magazine (2015-2016) and as an Environmentalist at Universal Environmental Consultants (2011-2014). 🌱📚

In November 2019, she attended a two-day workshop on “Teaching as a Profession” at the Faculty Development Academy, Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), Pakistan. Dr. Ijaz enhanced her skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by attending a course from August 5 to 27, 2017, at the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of the Punjab.
