🌿 Dr. Firouzeh Bordbar embarked on her academic journey by obtaining a BSc in Plant Biology from Gorgan University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, followed by an MSc in Plant Systematics from the University of Isfahan. Her MSc thesis delved into the morphological and cytotaxonomical aspects of Aegilops crassa Boiss. in Iran, laying the groundwork for her subsequent research. Driven by her passion for botanical exploration, she pursued a PhD in Plant Systematics at the University of Isfahan, focusing on the study of D-genome diversity among the Aegilops-Triticum group in Iran, utilizing both cytogenetic and molecular markers. Her academic journey reflects her dedication to understanding and preserving plant biodiversity. 🌱

🌿 Dr. Firouzeh Bordbar’s professional journey in academia commenced in 2011 as an Assistant Professor of Plant Systematics at the Environmental Sciences Research Institute, Kerman. Here, she contributed to the Biodiversity group, focusing on botanical research and education. Transitioning in 2013, she continued her academic endeavors as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Sciences, Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, further enriching her expertise in plant sciences. Recognizing her scholarly achievements, she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2019, solidifying her position as a leading figure in plant systematics within the university. Her dedication to botanical research and teaching has been unwavering throughout her career. 🌱
