From January 2021 to October 2022, he served as the coordinator for community service, Indigenous knowledge, research, and industry linkage at Wolkite University, Ethiopia. Prior to that, he was the coordinator for the postgraduate program and a lecturer from December 2019 to January 2021. He also led the Department of Agricultural Economics as head and lecturer from October 2018 to December 2019.
